Osaka (大阪市 Ōsaka-shi) (Japanese pronunciation: [oːsaka]) is a designated city in the Kansai region of Japan. It is the capital city of Osaka Prefecture and the largest component of the Keihanshin Metropolitan Area, the second largest metropolitan area in Japan and among the largest in the world with over 19 million inhabitants. Situated at the mouth of the Yodo River on Osaka Bay, Osaka is the second largest city in Japan by daytime population after Tokyo's 23 wards and the third largest city by nighttime population after Tokyo's 23 wards and Yokohama, serving as a major economic hub for the country.

 

Osaka's two most famous sightseeing spots are Universal Studios Japan and Osaka Castle.

1,Universal Studios Japan located in Osaka, is one of four Universal Studios theme parks, owned and operated by USJ Co., Ltd. which is wholly owned by NBCUniversal (as of 2017). The park is similar to the Universal Orlando Resort since it also contains selected attractions from Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.


2,Osaka Castle is a Japanese castle in Chūō-ku, OsakaJapan. The castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks and it played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century of the Azuchi-Momoyama period.
